Mission Statement:
The Technology SIG will provide simplified methods and share ideas on current software and computer technologies that enhance and simplify ease of use in our ongoing genealogy research. Investigate genealogy program methods that reduces errors in data duplication and dates. Organizational skills that allow your software and computer to organize and audit your database to provide high quality results and provide a clear path to download, move, and copy your research data. Provide insight into the compatibles of the latest software technology for your pictures and documents. Look to the future of genealogy changes and how they impact our abilities to pass on our work.

Anyone interested in genealogy and using technology to help in your research is welcome to attend. Be prepared to come with your questions to help drive the meetings to areas where you need help. You must be a member of The Villages Genealogical Society to participate in our meetings.
