Genealogy, Family Stories, Oral History and Traditions all entwine and recap the story of an individual's life. Every member has a story to tell either about yourself or other family members. Learn to record and retell these legacy stories for future generations.
The Preserving Family History Special Interest Group meets the second Tuesday of the month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Seabreeze Recreation Center. There are no meetings in June, July & August. For the duration of 2021, all meetings will be held via ZOOM. If you have a question about this SIG, send an email to Nancy or Sharol with your question, and they will respond as quickly as they can.
Anyone interested in preserving their family history is welcome to attend. Let us know which topics would be of the most help in your family history journey. You must be a member of The Villages Genealogical Society to participate in our meetings.
