Hello, our names are Nancy Schultz and Dr. Tom Sodeman and we are the co-coordinators of the Preserving Family History Special Interest Group. We meet the second Tuesday of the month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. in the Destin Room at the Seabreeze Recreation Center, 2384 Buena Vista Blvd. There are no meetings during June, July & August.  If you have a question about this SIG, send an email to Nancy or Tom with your question, and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Genealogy, Family Stories, Oral History and Traditions all entwine and recap the story of an individual’s life. Every member has a story to tell either about yourself or other family members. Learn to record and retell these legacy stories for future generations.
Anyone interested in preserving their family history is welcome to attend. Be prepared to come with your questions to help drive the meetings to areas where you need help. You must be a member of The Villages Genealogical Society to participate in our meetings.
