Special Interest Groups

The majority of our Special Interest Groups are now meeting in person but a few are continuing to meet using the Zoom platform. Please be sure to check for meeting updates on our "Coming Events" page, and contact the Special Interest Group coordinator if you have questions.

We have established Special Interest Groups (SIGs), smaller informal workshops devoted to a single topic, that meet monthly. These provide the opportunity to meet and work with other genealogists in a small group setting. Currently, SIGs are organized on the following topics listed below. New groups are always welcome and guidelines have been established for those interested in starting a new group. Questions about establishing a new group should be submitted to the SIG Coordinator Chairperson, Margaret Sgritta. You can contact her by email.
