The ABCs of Genealogy SIG is for VGS members with any level of experience in genealogical research The sessions are geared to be easy to understand to get you started and keep you going as you discover more about your ancestors. The genealogy society also has other resources on this website and you are encouraged to use the "Research Links" which will provide you with valuable assistance to continue your research.
Each SIG session includes steps to begin your family history. Sessions include a presentation by the SIG Coordinator, discussion, and Q&A. In addition, four topics are repeated twice a year:
Jan & May: Census Records
Feb & Sep: Immigration
